Default Your best GW moments?

What are YOUR best GW moments?
For me, it has to be when i was a complete n00b!
Looking back to the past and the best moments you have ever had on this game is a great way for admiring how the game has kept you occupied for this time, and i thought it would be a nice idea to post this thread!

That has to be back when I started.

When I learned what aggro exactly meant and the importance of pulling. (Thank you yak's bend quests).

When I made my own first successful solo build to farm in the desert.

When I finally had the money to purchase 15k armor.

When I finally had the courage to stand up to those godawful hydras

Well done for the thousandth topic with this title, have a cookie.

For me:

1) Henchmen.

2) Heroes

3) A-net sucking up the game so badly that I started playing WoW. OMG what a superior game to this crap.

Definitely the early days before all the nerfs, loot-scaling and when people ACTUALLY played together to further the story/game.

When i stumbled across my first and only guild.

Group of 6 rl friends and then me, none of us knew how to play, none of us knew that the game existed other than prophecies (nightfall and factions were out then), none of us knew about wiki, I was under the impression a sword and shield make perfect sense on an ele (couldnt give up that long sword with the crystalline skin in pre lol) and only one of us had made it out of pre.

We knew absolutely nothing and it was simply the best way to get into the game. I felt epic when i got level 20 before 2 other guys in the guild.

When Sorrow's Furnace was born. That rocked.

I hearted farming those greens and selling them which paid for my first Fissure armour set. It was kinda downhill when Factions came out - not that I dislike the new content, it's just too deviated from the essence of Prophecies.

Trolling during events/when I"m bored in towns. It's great because one day someone recognized me as doing this and insulted me for it. I was also called the biggest prick in Guild Wars. I have fans!

GvGing 18 months ago... the possibilities were endless.

Getting the first rank of KOABD and realising the rest of it was oh so very achievable.

Definitely that first elite armour moment.

- Getting a r9 15/-10 chaos axe as a drop. Sold the jewel for 75k back then, I had never seen so much money
- Finishing the Foundry of Failed Creations in 4 hours. I felt so unbelievable tired yet I thought, woohoo, I've done it
- Getting my obsidian armor
- But the best of all was getting my 100% tyria explored. I worked so hard for it, and when I was done I really though; OK, what's next? And took a break from GW because I suddenly hadn't got anything to do
- Finishing Thunderhead Keep after my 11th attempt
- Finishing Prophecies. That was epic the first time.

you win the internet for this comment...

i'd say when i discovered that NF wasn't so crappy after all, since i had started the storyline like right before leaving Istan and all... then i created my ele and it was actually good.

What he said. Besides that..dunno to be fair. 15k armor was hardly an achievment, as it only took 1 trade to buy everything I needed. FoW armour was easy. First mill was easy.

I know...uninstalling \o/

Yea NF was the best cos we got heroes. We wanted more particularly for HM, they dont give. Instead they give us loot scaling, dishonour / report, the worst ever wintersday and a mini pet that drops for 10 people in the whole game, and then they decide to sell the BMP O.o.

Sorry, I fail to understand what Anet is good at anymore. They made a great game. They ruined it.

GW doesnt even have any sence of achievement other then grinding titles, a traditional RPG's equivalent to leveling up and aquiring super equips. Yes we have elite armor and rare weapons, but you can get the same stats of cheap armor and weapons, so the need to obtain these is very low.
